Arjun Appadurai visits the SFB 1288

Arjun Appadurai, world-renowned social and cultural anthropologist, gave a talk on "Comparison and Connectivity" at Bielefeld University. Beside the public lecture he also found the time for a workshop which gave especially doctoral students the chance to directly discuss Appadurai's research.
