Farid Hafez in the series of lectures "Racism and Law"

Dr. Farid Hafez, Political Scientist from Salzburg, visited the SFB 1288 in December 2017. He started off the series of lectures "Racism and Law". In his talk he spoke about the overlaps, identification and also the contrast of the concepts of islamophobia, anti-Muslim racism and antisemitism. Besides discussing concepts he analysed different phenomena of contemporary racisms. He especially focused on the austrian debate and possible parallels to the german discourse.
