By receiving the fellowship Silke Schwandt is able to realize her project on digital and practically orientated history studies. Students' digital skills are supposed to be trained so they can apply methods from the Humanities on digital research objects. Besides learning about the subject-specific academic knowledge, experiences in project management and the communication of scientific results to a broader public are important aspects of the project.
