Universities play a decisive role in the digital transformation of our
society. In order to live up to this responsibility and ensure equal
participation for all students and employees, the new Competence Center
for Barrier-Free Digital University Administration.NRW of the Disabled
Persons' Representation / ZAB - Zentrale Anlaufstelle Barrierefrei will
sustainably promote digital accessibility at universities in North

SHUFFLE at the AAATE 2023 in Paris

From Aug. 30 - Sept. 01, 2023, SHUFFLE members from ZAB and AG9 from Educational Sciences attended the International Conference of the Association for the Advancement of Assistive Technology in Europe in Paris, France. ZAB becomes member of IAAP D-A-CH

Since June, ZAB is a member of the German-speaking branch of the
non-profit organization International Association of Accessibility
Professionals (IAAP D-A-CH).
Among other things, the IAAP supports organizations in
professionalizing their competencies and strategies in the field of
accessibility in order to make services, products and infrastructure
sustainably accessible. All IAAP members consider themselves "United in
Accessibility" and are committed to advancing the topic of digital
accessibility.
We are excited to be a part of this community of professionals and to
