The ZAB - Accessability Services are launching a distribution campaign of free postcards that are not only visually appealing, but also creatively address the topics of disability, equality for people with disabilities or chronic illnesses and accessibility.

The back of the postcards contains a brief explanation of the topics depicted as well as a QR code. This code leads directly to a specially created website where the topics are explained in more detail. Here, visitors can not only find out more about the barriers shown, but also receive practical tips on how to avoid the respective barriers themselves. The cards can be downloaded as PDF files or picked up in print format from the ZAB. It is best to order the quantity free of charge via zab@uni-bielefeld.de.

The distribution campaign is not limited to the university campus, the canteen or the information point. The postcards will also be distributed in the city of Bielefeld, in stores, restaurants and cafés. The ZAB is thus setting an example for inclusion that goes beyond the university and involves the public. To be continued: The campaign begins in January and will initially run with four motifs and claims until March 2024, after which the ZAB will continue the campaign and focus on other topics with new motifs.
