SHUFFLE at the AAATE 2023 in Paris

From Aug. 30 - Sept. 01, 2023, SHUFFLE members from ZAB and AG9 from Educational Sciences attended the International Conference of the Association for the Advancement of Assistive Technology in Europe in Paris, France. There, researchers and practitioners in the field of assistive and access technology came together. With the topic "Sensitize and qualify teachers for digital accessibility", our contributors presented interim results of their workpackage number 3 on digital accessibility in higher education teaching at the premises of Université Paris 8-Vincennes-Saint-Denis: The SHUFFLE team has developed checklists for the compilation of accessible documents, for accessible teaching as well as a knowledge database with further in-depth information for teachers on the basis of a survey conducted among teachers. The developed materials are currently being evaluated and are expected to be published under an open access license in 2024.
