New Publication by Dr. Ahmad Al Ajlan on Journal "Nature Human Behaviour"

Veröffentlicht am 8. September 2022
A new paper by Dr. Ahmad Al Ajlan (IKG) was published on the journal "Nature Human Behaviour" which belongs to the Springer Nature Publishing Group.

On the paper "How academia should support scholars fleeing war and persecution?" Dr. Ahmad Al Ajlan discusses key steps that academic communities can take to support and integrate their refugee colleagues.

"Supporting scholars at risk who flee persecution in their home countries is an old tradition in many democratic countries, which started even before the Second World War. Famous examples are Albert Einstein, Karl Popper and Hannah Arendt. Today, the Council for At-Risk Academic, which is based in Europe, receives hundreds of requests every year from academics in immediate danger. However, individuals and institutions who seek to support persecuted academics still face challenges and problems when it comes to practice".
