Open Doors at the Accessibility Services (ZAB)

We cordially invite all employees and students to our Open Doors on Wednesday, 07th May 2025. From 13:00 to 15:00, the ZAB will open its corridor in the main building (B2-253 - B2-318), as well as the student workrooms in B1-241 and B1-243.

Kick-off Event for the Alpha Release of DACHS

It’s finally here! The Alpha version of the DACHS portal is now being thoroughly tested. Thanks to the dedicated support of voluntary participants, the DACHS portal has entered its exciting first testing phase. Earlier this week at the end of september, a kick-off event took place, where the project was introduced in detail, and the first glimpses of the portal were shared.

DACHS project is funded

With the DACHS project (Digital Accessibility Checking and Simulation), the ZAB - Zentrale Anlaufstelle Barrierefrei has successfully acquired a new project. In the project, an interactive portal for teachers is being developed that sensitises teachers to the requirements of barrier-free teaching and teaches skills for implementation. The portal consists of awareness-raising, simulation, testing and instruction components. A core functionality of the portal will be the testing of Moodle and Ilias learning spaces, enabling teachers to make the place where they provide their materials to students accessible.
