Gesundes Altern: Neues EU-Projekt zur menschlichen Leber
Universität Bielefeld koordiniert Programm mit Partnern aus neun Ländern
Mit
rund 3,7 Millionen Euro fördert die Europäische Kommission ein neues
Programm in Physik und Biomedizin, für das sie jetzt die Zusage erteilt
hat. 14 junge Wissenschaftlerinnen und Wissenschaftler erforschen
gesundes Altern unter dem Mikroskop: Sie entwickeln neuartige optische
Verfahren, mit denen sich die Leber mikroskopisch-hochauflösend
untersuchen lässt. Der Physiker Prof. Dr. Thomas Huser koordiniert das Programm namens „DeLIVER“.
