Based on an international conference in May 2024 at the Royal Museum of Central Africa in Tervuren, the Belgian Presidency of the European Union has recently published a conference brief on Social Sciences, Arts, Humanities and the Future of Evidence-based Policy. At this conference, scientists, policymakers, administrators, civil society organizations and other knowledge brokers discussed ways of enhancing the ecosystem of policy expertise by using inter- and transdisciplinary approaches. Prof. Dr. Holger Strassheim was among the experts of the Scientific Committee who contributed to this conference and chaired panels.
