New CRC Research Project on Work-Family Policies
On 21 November 2025, the German Research Foundation (DFG) approved the third phase of the University of Bremen's Collaborative Research Centre 1342 (CRC/SFB) on the Global Dynamics of Social Policy.
As part of this collaborative research project, project A06 at Bielefeld University will investigate "Work-Family Policies: Socioeconomic outcomes and policy learning" (running 2026 to 2029). The project is led by Sonja Blum, together with Keonhi Son from the Mannheim Centre for European Social Research (MZES).
"In the new research project, we will investigate different understandings of the "socioeconomic outcomes" of work-family policies, and the role they play for work-family policymaking", says Sonja Blum. During the next days, a PhD research position for the project will be advertised at Bielefeld University.
