From 20 to 23 May 2025, Professor Sonja Blum and Nora Habelitz represented the working group Comparative Politics & Public Policy during the ECPR Joint Sessions of Workshops at Charles University in Prague.

The workshop Emotions in Policy and Politics – A Focus on Methodology was organized by Anna Durnova (University of Vienna), Sonja Blum (Bielefeld University) and Christopher Weible (University of Colorado Denver). Almost 20 papers were presented, using various methods to study emotions in policy and politics. Nora Habelitz contributed the paper Energized and emotional? How German and Italian Politicians emotionally narrate energy policy in the EU elections 2024. This joint work with Sonja Blum and Fabienne Lind (University of Vienna) is part of the Horizon Europe CIDAPE project.
