Vor Kurzem ist der Band „One Hundred Years of Social Protection“ aus der Reihe „Global Dynamics of Social Policy“ erschienen. Die von Lutz Leisering herausgegebene Publikation ist das Ergebnis einer internationalen Forschungsgruppe am Zentrum für interdisziplinäre Forschung (ZiF) zum Thema "Understanding Southern Welfare". Die e-Book-Version der Publikation liegt als Open Access vor und kann daher ohne Kosten heruntergeladen werden.

„As the first in-depth study of the ideational foundations of social protection policies and programmes in these four countries, the contributions demonstrate that the social question was articulated in an increasingly inclusive way. The contributions identify the ideas, beliefs, and visions that underpinned the movement towards inclusion and social peace as well as counteracting doctrines.
