Die Covid-19-Pandemie stellt Forschung und Lehre der qualitativen Methoden vor besondere Herausforderungen. Entsprechend wurden Lehrangebote und Infrastruktur der AG „Qualitative Methoden“ in den vergangenen Wochen auf die veränderten Bedingungen angepasst. Dies beinhaltet zum einen eine Umstellung der Lehrveranstaltungen auf digitale Formate mit synchronen und asynchronen Anteilen. Zudem wurden sowohl Methodenlabor als auch CIP-Pools auf Remotezugriff umgerüstet. Somit stehen diese Ressourcen Studierenden und Forschenden an der Fakultät für Soziologie weiterhin zur Verfügung.

Services of the research and teaching unit “Qualitative Methods” during the pandemic

The COVID-19 pandemic poses notable challenges for qualitative methods research and education. To address this, we have adapted the course program as well as the technical infrastructure of the research and teaching unit “Qualitative Methods” in accord with the altered conditions. This includes transferring all courses into digital formats that include synchronous as well as asynchronous parts. Moreover, the Methods Lab, as well as the PC pools have been outfitted for remote access. This ensures sustained availability of these infrastructures for students and research staff at the Faculty of Sociology.
