Resilience - a workshop for participants of AccessAbility
The peer mentoring programme AccessAbility of the ZAB exclusively offers workshops to participating students with disabilities and chronic or mental illnesses. In November, the online workshop "Resilience - Acting confidently with inner strength" took place as part of this programme.
The workshop was conducted by Astrid Weidner, a coach, consultant and trainer with a focus on resilience and language skills. Mrs. Weidner brings with her a valuable combination of communication competence, leadership experience, expert knowledge and, as a blind speaker, special perceptive skills. The aim of the workshop, which lasted several hours, was to get to know the concept of resilience and how it affects our lives. Together, the participants explored the methods for building up resilience and developed strategies for strengthening their own resilience and transferring what they had learned to their everyday lives and studies.
