SHUFFLE-Excursion to the Czech Republic

Published on 13. December 2022

An exciting and eventful week of the SHUFFLE project comes to an end. Three SHUFFLE members each from ZAB, AG 9 as well as the project partners set off to the Czech Republic in order to develop the project with new ideas and suggestions.
First, the journey took us to the Teiresias Centre of the Masaryk University in Brno. The Centre offers individual support for students with special needs and supports the communication with teachers. In workshops and discussions, we learned about various support services offered by the library, the need to implement universal design at universities, and the needs of students with invisible disabilities.

This institution, which is affiliated with the Counseling Center here, also presented us with various offers to support students with impairments. Beyond the various presentations, the direct conversations with students were particularly stimulating.

We would like to thank all our colleagues from Brno and Ostrava for the diverse and interesting impressions we were able to gain! The SHUFFLE project will certainly benefit a lot from this.
