Asimamaw Belete at the 2026 SkiLMeeT Conference in Brussels
Asimamaw Belete participated in the 2026 SkiLMeeT Conference: Workers, Firms, and Skills in the Digital and Green Transition, which took place in Brussels, Belgium, from October 22 to 23, 2026, at the Representation of the State of North Rhine-Westphalia to the European Union.
The conference brought together researchers to discuss the effects of the digital and green transition on workers, firms, and skills, with a particular focus on skill gaps, labour-market policies, and education. During the conference, Asimamaw Belete presented his joint research with Anna Zaharieva on The Geography of Job Search, Social Networks and Match Quality.
