Young migrants and asylum seekers in Tenosique, Mexico: Ongoing and pressing challenges
Yaatsil Guevara González and Alexandra Lestón examine the experiences of unaccompanied Central American migrant children at the Tenosique-Guatemala border in a new article. This crossing-border point has became a migrant node in the Central America- United States migratory corridor in the last decades. Drawing from their empirical work in Tenosique, the authors discuss the consequences of current migration enforcement measures by the United States and Mexican Governments.
