We are happy to announce two new publications co-authored by IKG-scientists!

1. "Psychology in the Arab Region: A Critical Perspective on Challenges and Ways Forward" by Rim Saab, Charles Harb, Arin H. Ayanian, Vivienne Badaan, and Mai Albzour - a piece on what it means to be a psychologist in and from the Arab Region.

2. An international research on climate anxiety, wellbeing and pro-environmental action, published in the Journal of Environmental Psychology by a team of forty-three international scientists, co-authored by Arin H. Ayanian and Aydin Bayad from IKG.

The study examines negative emotional responses to climate change in 32 countries. It finds that climate anxiety is positively related to pro-environmental behaviour and environmental activism and that climate anxiety is inversely related to mental wellbeing. The relationship between climate anxiety and pro-environmental actions is stronger in more individualistic and wealthier countries.
