We are pleased to highlight a new scientific publication co-authored by researchers from the Institute for Interdisciplinary Research on Conflict and Violence (IKG). Among the contributing authors are Prof. Dr. Tobias Hecker, Dr. Florian Scharpf, Anette Kirika, and Faustine Bwire Masath.

The article, recently published on ScienceDirect, examines factors associated with violent discipline by teachers in school settings. Drawing on data from schools in Ghana, Tanzania, and Uganda, the study analyzes structural, interpersonal, and individual determinants that may influence the occurrence of violent disciplinary practices.
