Prof. Dr. Jonas Rees, Yann Rees and Leon Walter have published a new article in Frontiers in Political Science with the title "Citizen participation and its impact on political efficacy: insights from a town hall study in Germany".

The study was conducted in cooperation with the Press Office and the Statistical Office of the City of Bielefeld and examines several town hall dialogue events organized by the city. The findings indicate that direct exchange between citizens and institutions can strengthen perceptions of institutional responsiveness.
