Denis van de Wetering and Jörg Hüttermann attended the workshop „Nativism, Islamophobism and Islamism in the Age of Populism: Culturalization and Religionization of what is Social, Economic and Political in Europe“.

The workshop was organised by Prof. Ayhan Kaya (İstanbul Bilgi University) and Prof. Thomas Faist (Sociology, Bielefeld University). During the online session, central results from the ERC-funded PRIME Youth Project as well as findings of the Bielefeld sociologists from their research on right-wing extremism and neo-salafist radicalisation were presented and critically discussed.
