On June 29, our colleague and friend Jim Sidanius passed away. We are in deep mourning. We researched with Jim, debated with him, listened to him. He was particularly supportive of our young scientists, especially Hector Carvacho and Fatih Uenal. They were in his lab at Harvard University and we were able to be part of that. A personal recollection by Andreas Zick for a memorial service is attached to this sad blog entry.
