Data Literacy in summer term 2023
In the coming summer term, there will again be a variety of seminars in the Data Literacy module. For example, the seminar "Open Minds for Open Science – Eine interdisziplinäre Einführung in Open Science" deals with the basic ideas of Open Science. The seminar "Von der Datenanalyse zur Datengeschichte - Datenanalyseergebnisse adressatengerecht kommunizieren" focuses on data storytelling. The various seminars enable students to acquire data literacy.

BiCDaS will be present at this year's Open Data Day next weekend on the 4th of March. And the Open Science Networks Bielefeld will also be there. The event "VIRTUAL OPEN DATA WELT" is part of the Open Data Day and is organised by the Digitalisation Office of the City of Bielefeld. The event can be found at open.digitalsein.com.

Members of the BiCDaS-Team have joined a recently established working group of the IEEE Standards Association to contribute to the development of a global standard for Data and AI Literacy, Skills, and Readiness.
