Kick-off meeting of the BMBF project Care Treasures

Published on 11. November 2022

On Wednesday, November 9, 2022, the kick-off meeting of the 'Federal Ministry of Education and Research - BMBF' with a total of seven projects on the topic of 'Technology-supported innovations, new ways in care' was held as a virtual meeting. The ZAB is a cooperating partner with the project "Pflegeschätze - Technologiegestützte Innovationen für Sorgegemeinschaften zur Verbesserung von Lebensqualität und Gesundheit informell Pflegender" (Care Treasures - Technology-supported Innovations for Care Communities to Improve the Quality of Life and Health of Informal Caregivers).

The meeting provided a platform for the participants to get to know each other, to exchange ideas and to discuss. In smaller groups, the participants had the opportunity to exchange ideas about the challenges they face and ways of providing support, and to broaden their own horizons. In addition to the participation of the citizens' councils, this joint exchange with stimulating discussions was particularly enriched by the additional presence of informal caregivers. It was possible to gain comprehensive impressions of the many aspects of care. The discussions stimulated reflection and encouraged people to think further.

This successful first get-together of the projects definitely whets the appetite for more!
