2nd ZAB - Forum Accessibility: Gaming with the head - Inclusive gaming
Monday, July 3, 2023, 2 p.m., Room X-E0-002 (X-Building).
This time's guest is Dennis, known on Twitch as WheelyWorld. The avid gamer is paraplegic from the neck down and will introduce us to how he uses the QuadStick to play computer games as an "Ambassador for Gaming without Borders". He will report which added value computer games can have and how gaming can be made inclusive. Afterwards there will be the opportunity to play with and against Dennis!
The event is open to the public. All info on the ZAB website.
Room X-E0-002 is barrier-free accessible and has an inductive loop system. Note for photosensitive people: Computer games will be shown at the event.
We kindly ask you to inform us about your individual needs as early as possible. We will be happy to assist you.
The ZAB - Forum Accessibility is the ZAB's new series of events around
the topics of active participation and accessibility in higher education
and far beyond. Contributions from science and research as well as
insights into practice offer an interdisciplinary and multi-layered
examination of the prerequisites for a barrier-free society.
