Pentecostalism in the Middle Class
The important issue of religion and social class has
been addressed by an extended field study in Buenos Aires. In his
dissertation (summa cum laude) “Inappropriate Spirits. Religious Tastes
and Styles among Middle Class Pentecostals in Argentina” Jens Köhrsen
investigates the emergence of specific Pentecostal religious tastes and
styles by a thorough comparison between lower class and middle class
