Conference 'Religion in Disputes' at Max Planck Institute
On invitation of the Max Planck Institute for Social Anthropology,
Halle/Saale, Heinrich Wilhelm Schäfer participated in a conference on
"Religion in Disputes". Under the title of "Religions as Schemes of
Meaning" he sketched how Habitus-Analysis can contribute to the
understanding of the specific role of religion in escalating and
de-escalating of disputes and conflicts.
