Wir freuen uns sehr, dass Nilay Barlas, die im vergangenen Jahr als wissenschaftliche Hilfskraft im Projekt „Many Moving Parts: Continuity, Disruption and Change in Global Humanitarian Aid Relations“ tätig war, eine neue spannende Herausforderung antritt: Sie wird ihre Promotion im ERC-geförderten Forschungsprojekt FeMMiWork an der Universität Maastricht beginnen. Das Projekt untersucht die Lebenswege von Migrantinnen in der Nachkriegszeit und soll dazu beitragen, ihre Perspektiven in der Migrationsgeschichte sichtbar zu machen. Der Arbeitsbereich Mediensoziologie gratuliert Nilay Barlas ganz herzlich zu dieser großartigen Gelegenheit, bedankt sich für die schöne Zusammenarbeit und wünscht alles Gute und viel Erfolg auf ihrem weiteren wissenschaftlichen Weg!

We are very happy that Nilay Barlas, who has worked as a research assistant in the project “Many Moving Parts: Continuity, Disruption and Change in Global Humanitarian Aid Relations”, is taking on an exciting new challenge: she will begin her PhD within the ERC-funded research project FeMMiWork at Maastricht University. The project explores the life trajectories of migrant women in the postwar period and contributes to making their perspectives visible within migration history.
