The deadline to submit your abstracts for the International Conference on Conflict and Violence Research 2025 is fast approaching. Be sure to send in your contributions by February 28th, 2025, to secure your place at this interdisciplinary event hosted by the Institute for Interdisciplinary Research on Conflict and Violence (IKG) at Bielefeld University from September 17th to 19th, 2025.

The conference will explore the intricate connections between climate change, conflict, and violence, bringing together scholars from diverse fields—such as psychology, sociology, political science, public health, environmental studies, history, and more—to share innovative research and solutions. Whether you’re an early-career researcher or an established academic, your work can help shape the conversation on these pressing global challenges.

• Societal and intergroup conflicts related to climate change, such as resource disputes and environmental justice movements.
• Political ideology, activism, and violence in the context of climate change.
