Accessibility

As part of the NEOLAiA network, the Accessibility Services (ZAB) is taking part in NEOstaff Week on the topic of "Diversity and Inclusion" together with the University Culture, Health and Diversity Department and the Gender Equality Office. In the week from 4 - 8 May 2026, around 30 people from various NEOLAiA partner universities will be guests at Bielefeld University and get to know the various facilities and services relating to diversity and inclusion.

Over two days, the ZAB will present its work and make the topic of inclusion at Bielefeld University visible. Among other things, the tasks of the Representative Council for Severely Disabled Employees and the services for students with disabilities will be presented. In an introduction to digital accessibility, the partners can share their experiences on the topic. The focus of the Staff Week is on the exchange between the partner universities and the identification of synergies.
