Federal conference of the Representative Bodies for Severely Disabled Employees from March 12-14

Representatives of Bielefeld University's Representative Body for Severely Disabled Employees attended this year's Federal Conference of Representatives for Severely Disabled Employees. All representatives of severely disabled employees in Germany were invited to the conference, which provided insights into the work of disabled employees' representatives in all employer sectors, such as the public sector, corporations and companies as well as church institutions.

The conference provided an opportunity for an intensive exchange on developments and challenges in labor law and possible support measures for employees with disabilities in the workplace. Practical experience and best practices were also exchanged, in particular on successful cooperation between employers, employees and representatives for severely disabled employees.

The exchange with other players in the German university landscape gives the Bielefeld University's Representative Body new insperation for the continuous and sustainable improvement of working conditions for university employees.
