New Appointments to the Academic Board of Directors

Yesterday, the Academic Board of Directors held its first session in its new composition: Marie Kaiser, Professor for Philosophy of Scince at Bielefeld University, and Eleonora Rohland, Professor of Entangled History of the Americas in the Pre-Modern Era also at Bielefeld University, have been appointed as the new Executive Directors, having previously served as Deputy Executive Directors. For the first time, two members of the Board will share the responsibilities of the position equally.
Joining the Academic Board of Directors is Jacob Engelmann, Professor of Active Sensing in the Department of Biology at Bielefeld University.
After eight years of service on the Board, including two years as Executive Director, Jens Stoye is stepping down from his position.We would like to take this opportunity to express our appreciation and thank him for his dedication and contributions during his tenure.
Staying on as members are Christiane Fuchs and Johanna Kißler.
