In the aftermath of the Bosnian war, revival of faith and impeachment of religion went hand in hand. The problematic juxtaposition of religious spoilers and peace builders in Bosnia and Herzegovina, and the question whether religion is problem or solution of the conflict, has been addressed by Leif H. Seibert in his dissertation "Religious credibility under fire. A praxeological analysis of the determinants of religious legitimacy in postwar Bosnia and Herzegovina" (summa cum laude).
