the German Research Foundation (DFG) has granted funds for the German part of the project. From the John Templeton Foundation we had already in fall of 2014 received funds for the research in the USA. Now the psychology of religion research network between the Research Center for Biographical Studies in Contemporary Religion at the University of Bielefeld, Germany and the Psychology Department at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, USA can carry out a research project, which for the first time investigates religious development using the faith development interview in longitudinal, cross-cultural and mixed-method research.
