The course analyzes and criticizes the complex relationships between culture and society and health and illness. The students are going to conduct a quantitative or qualitative study under my supervision and they are going to present it in class. I also intent to contact fellow investigators to learn more about their work and to meet with other researchers involved in similar areas of study as mine, with the hope that new beneficial collaborations will be developed.”
