Shortly before the start of winter term the contents and stages of work of all 18 subprojects stood at the center of the - by this time - fourth closed SFB conference. Besides the evaluations and presentations the SFB also discussed a working paper of research area A as well as first strategic thoughts and findings for the SFB's continuation in the next funding phase

Accordingly, the density of information was quite high and induced an intense substantial exchange regarding the status quo of the research on comparing in the SFB. After and in between these exciting perspectives on the development of the SFB there was also time for the equally important coffee break chats and the get-together in the evening.
