Talha Minhas, assoziiertes Mitglied und Doktorand im SFB 1288, nimmt vom 03.–05.08.2022 an der „global dis:connect (gd:c)“ Summer School an der Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität in München teil. Die Summer School wird organisiert vom Käte Hamburger Research Centre zum Thema „School „Postcolonial interruptions? Decolonisation and dis:connectivity: postcolonial interruptions and continuities of globalization“. Talha Minhas diskutiert anknüpfend an seine Promotion im SFB 1288 „The Dis:connect between the Postcolonial and the Global: A Micro-Global Historical critique of Subversive Historical Research in Pakistan".

Im SFB 1288 arbeitet Talha Minhas an seiner Dissertation zum Thema „Practices of Comparing in late Colonial and Modern Nationalist Historiography in Pakistan (1850–1980): Calling for a Global History in Pakistan through a Practice-theoretical Approach to Anti-nationalist Historiography". Betreut wird die Promotion von SFB 1288-Sprecherin Antje Flüchter.
