Branco Weiss, a visionary Swiss entrepreneur and advocate for science, dedicated almost his entire fortune to the advancement of exceptional postdoctoral scholars (see https://brancoweissfellowship.org). Since its launch in 2002, The Branco Weiss Fellowship has supported more than 150 fellows worldwide. A distinctive feature of the program is the freedom to choose any host institution globally that best matches the fellow’s project.

Applications are encouraged from all disciplines, including the humanities and social sciences.
