Dear colleagues,

At our 5th Peace and Conflict Talk (PaCT) on 4 November 2022, we talked about the situation of protesting women in Iran. We got a picture of the situation by listening to Azadeh Akbari (University of Twente) and Tabassom Fanaian (Independent Researcher, Oslo). Their hopes in science and in the community of researchers are high. Subsequently, Tabassom wrote and published the attached letter. It goes to us, so we are very happy to publish this letter. We hope it will be noticed and that the research community can help and support the women and protesters in Iran. We thank our colleague Tabbasom Fanaian very much.
