The IAS Colloquium for this semester will kick off next Tuesday, April 14, 2026 (6–8 p.m.), with a lecture by our visiting scholar from Ecuador, Prof. Dr. Maria Fernanda Lopez Sandoval (FLACSO Quito) titled: 

“Rethinking the Anthropocene as an Analytical Framework to Understand Land Use Change and Human-Driven Frontiers in the Tropical Andean Páramo.”

The event will take place in cooperation with the Colloquium on Global and Entangled History in Room X E0-226 in the X Building.
