Center for InterAmerican Studies

The Center for InterAmerican Studies (CIAS) warmly invites students, researchers, and all interested members of the university community to the final session of the InterAmerican Studies Colloquium in the Summer Semester 2026.

The concluding event, "IAS Career Perspectives", will feature Alina Muñoz Knudsen (Berlin/Costa Rica), who will share insights into professional pathways beyond university and reflect on the diverse career opportunities available to graduates of InterAmerican Studies.

The session offers an opportunity to discuss how interdisciplinary expertise, intercultural competencies, and regional knowledge can be applied in a wide range of professional contexts. Participants will have the chance to engage in conversation, ask questions, and learn from practical experiences in international and transnational fields of work.
