With the end of the summer semester, the current start-up scholars have said goodbye to Bielefeld. For four months the six MA graduates were guests at the BGHS to work on a convincing doctorate exposé.
Maria Borba Dantas (Brazil), Kim Anh Dang (Vietnam), Hafdis Hafsteinsdottir (Iceland), Daorotiana Rokotondratandra (Madagascar), Daniele Toro (Italy) and Jovana Vukcevic (Montenegro) used their time as well, to join seminars at the BGHS, get to know other doctoral researcher and scientists with a similar research focus and to present their dissertation projects during the colloquium Meet the Start-Ups.
While Daniele Toro and Kim Anh Dang chose to take part at the doctoral program at the BGHS, Jovana Vukcevic gained a Marie-Curie-Fellowship, to which we congratulate cordially.
We wish all our start-up scholars good fortune and a successful future.
