On 15 and 16 January 2016 a interdisciplinary workshop on »Postkolonialismus und China?« (post-colonialism and China?) takes place at the BGHS.

The workshop focuses on the question whether postcolonial theories are suitable for the always only semi-colonized China and how the study of China may provide new ideas for the development of postcolonial theory.

The workshop will be held in German. All members of the BGHS are cordially invited to participate.
