Film Project: Future. The Exploration of Deep Space

The last film from the BGHS film project “On People and Things – Science in Dialogue” takes us into space – or, to be more precise, into deep space. Christina Zschieschang examines the visions of the future that are being incorporated into plans for the exploration of the Moon and Mars – and perhaps even beyond. And it becomes apparent that these visions in Europe and the USA, on the one hand, and Russia and China, on the other, are not as different as one might think, given the political situation.
