From 29 June to 1 July 2015 this year's Annual Seminar to the topic »Structures and Events. A Dialogue between History and Sociology« took place at the Center for Interdisciplinary Research at Bielefeld University.

Within the conference young academics from 13 countries including India, Nigeria, and the United States discussed different aspects to the topic in nine panel session in an interdisciplinary perspective.

Two Keynote-Lectures by William Sewell (Chicago) and Tobias Werron (Bonn) and a Public Lecture by Hans Mathias Kepplinger (Mainz) completed the programme.
