NEOLAiA
NEOLAiA Year 2025 draws to a close – NEOLAiA Year 2026 is just around the corner
At the end of the year, the Bielefeld student representatives in the European university alliance NEOLAiA will bid farewell to the students in Bielefeld. On Thursday, 18 December, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., there will be a little European Christmas surprise for all students who stop by in front of the Audimax. But that's not all: Bielefeld students can already find out about opportunities for stays abroad in Europe in 2026 through NEOLAiA and apply now.
Several opportunities for short-term mobility in 2026 are currently being advertised within the European university alliance NEOLAiA. These opportunities enable Bielefeld students to gain international experience in Europe as part of their studies. These opportunities include a Focus Academy on ‘Data analytics for inclusion and diversity’ with a short one-week stay at the University of Jaen in Spain and various forms of the ‘Summer Academy for Entrepreneurship’ for Bachelor's and Master's students.
At a Focus Academy, students take a course that consists of online components with lecturers and students from European partner universities within NEOLAiA. For a short mobility phase, usually lasting one week, the course group then comes together at one of the NEOLAiA locations in Europe. Summer academies usually take place for a short period at one of the NEOLAiA locations in Europe. Mobility can be funded through Erasmus+.
The process for Bielefeld students is simple. They click on the desired courses in the ekVV to add them to their study plan and thus apply for participation. The next steps then follow.
