Internationalization success for Bielefeld University: The European Commission has selected seven new alliances for funding as a “European University”. One of these is the NEOLAiA consortium, in which Bielefeld University is involved together with eight other European universities. NEOLAiA works under the motto “Transforming Regions for an Inclusive Europe”. Over the next four years, the alliance will receive a total of 14.4 million euros in EU funding as a joint “European University”. Bielefeld University will receive funding of 1.7 million euros.
