Blended Intensive Programme in Bielefeld: International perspectives on education
Six countries, many ideas: In the blended intensive programme "Breaking the Bubble", international experts and students shed light on education systems in an international comparison. Together, they explore inclusion, culture and information policy. A varied programme ensures intensive discussions and new perspectives. A total of almost 30 students and teaching staff from various NEOLAiA universities are guests at Bielefeld University this week for the blended intensive programme.
How do different education systems work? Students and teaching staff are exploring this question in the blended intensive programme "Breaking the Bubble" at Bielefeld University, which is being run by Michaela Vogt and Amelie Labusch. They are accompanied by experts from Germany, Italy, Cyprus, India, Iran and Ukraine. After an introductory tour of the campus, participants will take part in workshops on issues of inclusion, exclusion, cultural differences and more. Lectures such as those by Erika Pace (Salerno), Agni Stylianou (Nicosia) and Amelie Labusch (Bielefeld) provide insights into international perspectives. In group work, students explore the challenges in different education systems. Excursions - for example to the accessibility services (ZAB) - and joint evening events promote exchange. The aim is to break down barriers, broaden perspectives - and break through your own "bubble".
