Medical Assistance Systems

As part of Bielefeld University’s AI*IM focus area, opportunities are opening up for people with disabilities to participate in the Medical Assistance Systems Working Group. Our inclusive research assistants, Christian Buchmann and Viola von Werder, are now helping to further develop our prototype database “Co.Aid: The Assistive Technology Database,” which was conceptually developed as part of the BRAVO project led by Monique Koke and Prof. Dr.-Ing. Britta Wrede. The final product is intended to be made available in an open-access format for people with disabilities and for advice on assistive devices.
